MCE WELDING TRAINING PROGRAM

Acquire welding skills and theorectical knowledge in this self-paced program in order to successfully meet Canadian Welding Bureau and TSSA standards. Exposure to a wide variety of applications, positions and materials used in diverse industrial fields is provided. You can design your own curriculum specific to your needs. Training is broad-based and will meet the needs of both those with no experience in welding and those who wish to enhance specific skills.

Welding skills will be assessed prior to entrance in the course and a plan developed outling the welding process that will be taught and the length of time required to complete the plan. Choose to work towards one CWB ticket or the entire Welder Operator Certificate Program.
Mohawk College also provides Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) and TSSA testing on-site. Students may book tests for CWB and TSSA certification at any time for any position. CWB and TSSA testing costs are in addition to tuition costs.
LENGTH OF PROGRAM: Flexible Daytime Hours (6 hours per day) Monday to Friday. START DATES: Weekly
PLEASE NOTE: You must supply your own safety boots, safety glasses and school supplies. Course texts are provided for the duration of the program.
