The Ontario Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (OAMRT) is pleased to announce a new and innovative partnership with Mohawk College Enterprise (MCE) for the delivery of world class training opportunities in the field of medical radiation sciences.
"Together, we are committed to the advancement of the medical radiation sciences professions through sophisticated training opportunities led by renowned subject experts featuring the latest technologies and practice trends" said Dr. Greg Gurniak, President and Chair of the OAMRT Board of Directors.
With our combined resources, we have the potential to offer an expanded suite of educational programs and seminars to meet the needs of Medical Radiation Technologists (MRTs) and other allied health professionals from across the province and the country. "We are fortunate to leverage this new partnership with MCE; more than 6,500 Ontario MRTs will benefit from this joint venture and the value of integrated educational training opportunities will be reflected positively in the medical industry" stated Dr. Gurniak.
"We look forward to growing a productive partnership that not only provides enhanced training solutions for Medical Radiation Technologists across Canada, but also heightens awareness of OAMRT and their valuable contributions to the health care system" said Don Baxter, President and CEO, of Mohawk College Enterprise.
"Hamilton is a global leader in the field of health sciences, with Mohawk College and McMaster University both playing vital roles in the advancement of specialized training" said Baxter. "We are very excited about our new alliance with OAMRT and this new joint-partnership supports the mandate of both organizations".
